Curators Note
I highly recommend working with Jared Haviland. I’ve had my gallery now for three years and base this on working with 20 artists to date. He is extremely professional, a serious person, well spoken, very easy to work with, and a great talent. I was first drawn to his graffiti-based fine art for its style and color and was shocked to see the meaning behind the pieces: Scripture. I have not seen worship-based art like this before. His work has the ability to impact some people very deeply: Jared and I have experienced that directly. I was able to sell two pieces, and hope to sell more. His art and story are unique. We were able to get one media hit: a video and an article in his local Tacoma News Tribune, and interest from my local paper as well. It’s not easy to get a story placed, and we did. I look forward to continuing to work with Jared, thrilled to see what he creates next, including sculpture.
